International Affairs Committee

The JSPM International Affairs Committee seeks to collect and share/exchange key information and findings from within the field with other international societies for palliative medicine/care.

The primary functions and responsibilities of the Committee are:

To network and exchange academic findings, and collaborate with other academic societies for palliative medicine/care in three East Asian countries: Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
To exchange guest speakers with the above-mentioned countries, and also delegate and accept speakers to and from related academic conferences.
To facilitate society members’ participation in international learning opportunities by planning and holding international collaborative sessions at the annual congress.
